Jeff McKay is a Driving Therapist specializing in helping individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder and/or phobic anxiety recover after traumatic crashes. He has been trained to provide prolonged exposure therapy as well as the Driver Competency Assessment (DCA).
He is a graduate of York University with a specialized honours degree in philosophy. His honours coursework and thesis were in the philosophy of clinical psychology. He has completed another three years in the department of psychology, neuroscience, and behaviour at McMaster University. He currently sits as a board member of the Road Safety Educator's Association (RSEA), and is a general member of the Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED).
Jeff is currently writing curriculum for a new exposure therapy program. There will be a need for input from several different health professionals including, a neuropsychologist, a clinical psychologist, and an occupational therapist.
